November 2015 The Shop 91 A smooth mix of old and new has merged seamlessly into a sleek, even, sharp-looking 1956 Chevy Bel Air Hardtop. The Chevy's owner, Jeff Zirkle, had fallen in love with the power and easy handling of a modern chassis under the classic look of an old Chevy. He just needed a car and he could bring his project to life. As luck would have it, just an hour from Chris Holstrom Customs sat an unfinished vehicle, the 1956 Chevy Bel Air Hardtop. Plans were put in motion and the project came to life. U n d e r t h e glossy, new black surface is a pow- erful new LS3 that is conservatively rated at 480 hp. It is backed by an overdrive auto- matic, and fea- tures a DynoMax Ultra Flo welded round exhaust. Participants include: Baer Brakes, Morrison Performance, Forgeline, RideTech, American Autowire, Dutchman Motorsports and Speed- tech Performance USA. Look for the Chevy in the DynoMax/ Rancho booth #25133 at the SEMA Show. Chevy Bel Air Hardtop Hazelton Sound's Jeep Cherokee & Trailer car audio vehicle delivers its message loud and clear. The Jeep can be found at SPL audio competi- tions and the trailer, not surprisingly, is used to haul stuff. It's also a meter station complete with its own audio and TV setup. Jeep Cherokee & Trailer 1931 Ford Model A The SEMA Action Network (SAN) is debuting a homebuilt 1931 Ford Model A hot rod at its 2015 SEMA Show display. Founded in 1997, the SAN is a growing alliance comprised of U.S. and Canadian industry members and consumers fighting unfair automotive laws and regulations. Handcrafted by SAN Director Colby Martin and his father Al Martin, the coupe will stand as a visual symbol for show attendees of the types of vehicles and equipment that many states seek to restrict and regulate. Stop by booth #60003 (outside the convention walls of Central Hall near the Meguiar's "Car Crazy" stage) to see the finished project and learn more about the SAN's efforts to keep these vehicles on the road. presented By Booth #25023 November 2015 The Shop 91
