While a strong, lifelong Catholic, Bob was also actively involved at Slatersville Congregational Church UCC. Bob was influential in the forming of the North Smithfield Food Pantry. Bob was an avid traveler, a voracious reader of all things historical, and had a music collection that rivals few oth- ers. Bob was a staunch Democrat, who started his involvement in presidential campaigns at age 12. He was very active in the Obama 2008 campaign.
