MICHIGAN IN THE PROS F ormer Michigan quarterback Tom Brady is off to a great start in his 16th NFL season and could be on the way to yet another Super Bowl. Brady was on top of the league in passer rating (118.4) as of Oct. 20, and he had completed 70.6 percent of his passes for 1,699 yards with 14 touch‑ downs and one interception. He connected on 23 of 37 throws for 312 yards with three touchdowns and an interception in a 34‑27 win over Indianapolis Oct. 18, and the pick wasn't even his fault. Brady hit wide receiver Julian Edelman in the hands early in the second quarter deep in Patriots territory, but the ball popped up and into the hands of Colts safety Mike Adams, who pulled it in and returned it for a touchdown. Indianapolis was the team that accused Brady of having footballs deflated during last year 's playoff game, and his dad was quoted as saying he hoped his son would hang 60 points on the Colts. Brady played well, but remained humble in the postgame. "It's a good win … I'm glad we won," Brady said. "It's always good to win on the road." He also kept two game balls as he walked off the field, perhaps signify‑ ing this win meant just a little more.
