THE NEWEST FLASH-CURING UNITS AND DRYERS FLASH-CURE UNIT The Plug-n-Go Express flash cure from Work- horse Products has a curing area of 15" X 16" and is designed for use with the Freedom Express automatic press. The unit is plugged into the print head and controlled by a master control panel that can operate multiple flash- cure units. It features an automatic shutoff and uses shortwave quartz technology for rapid flash times, along with a quartz-air system to eliminate the need for a cool-down station. The dryer is available in lengths of 5' or 6' with a variable speed belt and an insulated heat chamber. The 5' model is offered with an 110V plug for quick setup and small home-based shops. The Redstar series is an infrared heat dryer designed for plastisol inks, while the Turbo Jetstar series is a combination of infrared and hot air which can cure plastisol, water-based, and solvent-based inks. All dry- ers come with 24", 36", and 48" belt widths and lengths of 8', 12', and 16'. Both styles have digital heat control, heater height adjustment, and belt speed adjustment.
