Knox, Austin Appleby, David Blough and Jarrett Burgess got the glory for them, being the ones who held the ball while crossing the goal line, being the ones who were bum- rushed after doing so, high-fived and hugged and, even, literally lift- ed up in celebration. Left guard Jason King usually was one of the guys doing the bum- rush, delivering a slap on the hel- met or a congratulatory pat on the back to the touchdown-producer. Even if on the bulk of those oc- Pivotal Piece King progressing into 'staple' on O-line Tom Campbell Jason King has emerged in his junior season as one of Purdue's most consis- tently solid players. Coach Darrell Hazell called the starting left guard a "rock" and a "staple" up front.
