L
ast year, Total Sports Experience in
Rochester, New York, hosted a Tough
Mudder event for kids. It was "just an idea of
something to do," said General Manager Jamie
Hammond. He thought a dozen or so kids would
sign up for it. "We had just under 150 kids
ages 4-12."
Now the families of those kids know about
the indoor fields as well as the outdoor fields,
the fitness center, and the micro programs
for all the younger brothers and sisters of
the participants.
TOUGH
MUDDERS
People in your community have probably heard
about your sports programs. Getting them into
your facility will increase the likelihood of their
signing up for one. Once there, they will then
learn about your birthday parties or parent/
child classes.
An open house or other special event will
not only give families something to do, it
will expose them to all you have to offer
and encourage them to participate in one
of your programs.
