FALL2015 9 For Game On, KnockerBall is a partner. The inflatables are not kept at the facility but are outsourced. "If someone calls for a party, we call our representative right away, ask him if he's available on that day. We don't have to worry about storing, returning or maintaining them. Total Turf Experience in Pitman, New Jersey, was one of the first facilities to participate in BubbleBall. "Usually we encourage 6 v 6 games, because they do get heavy after a while, and you get hot, so we tell the kids to take turns," says manager Dawn Krough. "If a party has 20 to 25 kids, there's no need to use more than 12 balls if you're just going to have a 6 v 6 game." The wearable inflatables come in different sizes for kids and adults. "It depends what you can hold," says Dawn. Not only has the number of birthday parties at these facilities continued to increase, Bubble Ball and KnockerBall also increase field rentals. Businesses schedule games as team- building activities, and sports teams celebrate the end of their season with a game of Bubble Kickball or Knocker Soccer. "The kids love it," says Dawn.
