explained that producing a
radio-controlled rig like this
requires endless hours of
research and development time
in actual desert conditions,
combined with a nerdy
sensibility about engineering
and fabrication work. In some
ways, they explained that it's
a lot like building a real full-
size SCORE Unlimited Trophy
Truck, as the process takes a
certain vision to tread where
few others in the hobby have
gone before, and it shows in
the solid performance of the
YETI SCORE Trophy Truck RTR.
Seymour and Coonce
engineered and designed a
new body, wheels, tires and an
unbelievable chassis set-up for
this vehicle. But before they
celebrated, Axial entered into a
partnership with SCORE, which
gave the company the official
rights to give the YETI RTR the
official "Trophy Truck" name,
one which is trademarked by
SCORE. "Other R/C companies
wanted to create a Trophy
Truck, but they really can't call it
that because we have a unique
AXIAL WANTED THIS R/C CAR
TO HAVE THE DETAIL OF A
REAL TROPHY TRUCK, WHICH
INCLUDES THE SPARE TIRE
CARRIER WITH BFGOODRICH
