It's always nice to have nice things said about you, but to be included in such a first-class publication is quite special. I know the work that goes into...an issue like this is immense. Congrats on a job well done! Mike Zimman, via e-mail Laugh Factory I loved flipping through the pages of prod- ucts in your Home issue. I also especially liked Emma Haak's piece about Brainfox ["Funny Business," March/April 2012]. I'll be watching for great stuff from them! S. LeChasseur, via e-mail Say Cheese I truly enjoyed the article about cheese making at Valley View Farm ["The Cheese Stands Alone," March/April 2012]. It's 12 nshoremag.com May/June 2012 great to see a local couple finding success in doing something they are passionate about. Thanks for including info on where I can find Valley View Farm Cheese. I'll be stopping by Henry's Market to get some! Kate Colley, via e-mail House Warming Great night at the Northshore magazine launch party! They did a fantastic job at Lucia Lighting & Design the food was amazing and dessert from Cakes for Oc- casions was even better! Cape Ann Chamber, via Facebook Thank you for the opportunity of enjoy- ing the launch party for Northshore's Home issue held at Lucia Lighting & Design! It was a fabulous night with deli- cious food, drinks, beautiful surround- ings, and inspiring people. A lot of work, thought, inspiration, creativity, and talent goes into making this magazine shine and you do shine. Thank you for this bright spot for the North Shore! Joanne Caputo-Carfagna, via Facebook Lynn-sanity I can't believe how the only time you pub- lish an article about a restaurant in Lynn, it's about the Blue Ox ["A Brine Idea," March/April 2012]…Enough already. There is better food in Lynn. How about Mexico Lindo—fantastic Mexican; Pho Minh Ky— Vietnamese at its finest; Lynn Meatland—not your average butcher shop, unusual sandwiches, stirfry bowls, and chicken pot pies (better than Ken's Kickin'); or Tipico—Dominican food... I understand you like the fine dining at- mosphere, but some of the best foods are from holes in the wall. You must be sick of the writing about the Ox. Because we are sick of reading about it. James Shelton, via e-mail Editor response: Thanks for your feedback, James. We cover many different types of ven- ues—be they for dining, drinking, shopping, or cultural interest—for different reasons. Many of our staff have personally experienced the Blue Ox and have enjoyed the quality of the restaurant's food, beverages, and service. Some of your suggestions are indeed on our radar and we'll consider them for future coverage. And remember, voting for our 2012 Best of the North Shore issue is open, so be sure to vote for your favorites on our website. You Gotta Have Faith I was blown away by "American Faith" in your March/April issue. I think religion is a fascinating topic, especially in this elec- tion year, and I found it refreshing to see religion portrayed as faith—not as some- thing that divides us but which we can all share in some way. No matter whether or not we believe in God we can all subscribe to the idea of having faith in something. And the photos were breathtaking. T.
