MICHIGAN FOOTBALL thriller against the No. 5 Crimson Tide (31-30). Now, from Brady to the least known member of that crew, they'll have some hardware by which to remem- ber the Orange Bowl triumph. HARBAUGH IN PLAYOFF MODE OVER MICHIGAN'S FINAL WEEKS Jim Harbaugh knows playoff foot- ball, from his NFL playing days to taking the San Francisco 49ers to the Super Bowl during his professional coaching tenure. His players noted he indicated Michigan found itself in playoff mode facing the final stretch of the season. When asked about that, he didn't linger long harkening back to the one- and-done nature of the NFL playoffs. Instead, he took it all the way back to his days of growing up in Ann Arbor and having to perform so he could keep playing. "You can think back to any playoff situation you've ever been in, or that you know about," Harbaugh offered. "I can draw on coaching teams in playoffs, being in playoffs as a player. Heck, when we were young and liv- ing over on Anderson Street, in the summer we'd all get together in the morning and go play basketball at Pattengill Elementary School. Redshirt sophomore tailback Ty Isaac might be one of those players that moves on. Originally a signee for USC, Isaac left Southern Cal after one season so he could be closer to home (Illinois) and play for Brady Hoke. Sources have told The Wolverine he may wait to see where Hoke ends up in 2016 and seek a transfer there. However, if Isaac were to leave for another FBS program, he would have to sit out another year due to NCAA transfer rules. If he decides to depart Michigan and wants to play right away, he would have to transfer to a FCS or Division II school. Isaac has rushed 30 times for 205 yards and a touchdown this season but hasn't seen the field since the Michigan State game, missing three Big Ten contests in a row. • Junior tailback Derrick Green missed the Indiana game, but because of an in- jury. While Green, like most reserves, isn't satisfied with his role, he is expected to be back in 2016. Green has rushed for 157 yards and two scores on 47 carries this season. • Two quarterbacks that were brought in by Hoke's staff — junior Shane Mor- Season Buzz
