That string arrived after Beilein brought Michi- gan out of a near decade of not being a part of March Madness. This year, Michigan's players insist it's time to return. "It's tough, just knowing what we're capable of, knowing what we did our first couple of years — mak- ing it to the championship game, making it to the Elite Eight," LeVert said. "Then last year, not making any- thing. "It was definitely tough on us, and it's definitely fuel to the fire for this year. I can't believe we're already se- niors. It goes by really, really fast. We just want to make for the best senior year possible." That goes for all the veterans, Beilein stressed. Albrecht and LeVert, Walton, junior wing Zak Irvin, junior guard Andrew Dakich and junior forward Sean Lonergan want to get the postseason feeling back again. "Those six right there have experi- enced a lot of success, and last year was heartbreaking for us all," Beilein said. "Now, that is certainly going to breed hunger. I do think we see that from our team."
