Sustainability Report
FY 2015
Aurecon's sustainability journey is
continuing to gain momentum. This past
financial year, for example, saw Aurecon
become Organisational Stakeholders of the Global
Reporting Initiative (GRI), the first global, multi-
disciplinary engineering consultancy to do so.
It is, therefore, our pleasure to introduce to you the
company's third annual Sustainability Report. As with
the previous Report for financial year 2014, this Report
highlights the many ways in which we are continuing to
support the environment, promote meaningful engagement
with all of our stakeholders, ensure continued transparency
across all corporate governance structures and sharpen our
focus on fostering diversity, as well as develop a culture of
health and safety.
Extending over the financial period, 1 July 2014 to 30 June
2015, this Report covers Aurecon's operations and activities
worldwide, with a particular focus on the company's two
largest regions of operations, Australia/New Zealand and
South Africa. The reporting is aligned to the principles of
the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) G4 Framework Core
Option with the intention of becoming fully compliant with
this Option in the near future.
As representatives of both Aurecon's global board and
executive management committee, we remain committed
to growing a sustainable business at all levels across
the company for the benefit of all our stakeholders.
We, therefore, invite you all to be part of Aurecon's
sustainability journey.
