In the program, which runs now through Thursday, Dec. 10, a team of "elves" collects names from local nurs- ing homes, senior housings, and adult day centers. Names and gift ideas are placed on stars, which can be found at five retail locations in Rhode Island and Massachusetts. Anyone can take a star, buy a gift, and return it with a gift bag to the cus- tomer service desk of the retail outlet. Trees with stars are located at: Emerald Square Mall, 999 South Washington St., in North Attleboro, Mass.; Mission Nutrition, 156 Gansett Ave., in Cranston; Theatre 82 Café, 82 Rolfe St., in Cranston; Warwick Mall, 400 Bald Hill Road, in Warwick; and Wrentham Outlets, 1 Premium Outlets Blvd., in Wrentham, Mass. All gifts will be wrapped, sorted, and arranged for delivery on Dec. 16. Local news. Local owners. You might think every newspaper would be like that. But they aren't. We are. In your time of need, The Valley Breeze will print your loved one's full obituary for a small charge. The paper also places the obituary on our Web site, valleybreeze.com, as soon as it is provided to us by your family's funeral director. Notification to friends and neighbors is also made weekdays on WOON-AM radio announcements. Should you desire our services, kindly inform your funeral director. The full charge is $70, or $100 for lengthy obituaries, in the edition of your choice. You may place the obituary in any of our other editions for $50 each. Abbreviated death notices are provided free of charge. Thank you. OBITUARIES
