ro Quad Team 49a is a home grown Mexico team made up of
friends with a passion for desert racing and the strength and
courage to compete with the seasoned pros! Gustavo Ameca,
Ivan Vega, Alan Cardenas and Rafael Marquez have battled it
out all year with Pro Quad champions Javier Robles Jr. and
Francisco Vera – and although they have yet to beat them, they
continue to fight every mile of every race! In this year's Baja 1000, they
came in well prepared, but once again the unforgiving Baja desert took its
toll, and they were left behind the two veteran pro riders. But the passion
and excitement of Team 49a will most certainly be back in 2016, ready to
fight for podium spots in the physically demanding Pro Quad class. This is
