(Mazzone) Blais, 89, of Cumberland passed away peace- fully Sunday, Dec. 27, 2015 at The Holiday Retirement Home, Lincoln. Born in Malba, N.Y., a daughter of the late Vincent A. and Louise A. (Botta) Mazzone, she had lived in Cumberland for most of her life. Mrs. Blais was a teacher at the Woonsocket Catholic Regional Schools for over 25 years before retiring. She is survived by two daughters, Elise B. Geddes and her husband, William of Cumberland, and Eleanor L. Blais and her husband, Christopher Wonnell of San Diego, Calif.; four grandchildren, Louis and Amanda Wonnell, and William and Rebecca Geddes; and several nieces and neph- ews. She was the mother of the late Henry J. V. Blais and the sister of the late Elmo J. Mazzone and Remo V. Mazzone. Her funeral will be held Saturday, Jan. 2, 2015, at 8:30 a.m. from Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. John Vianney Church, 3655 Diamond Hill Road, Cumberland. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence. Blais BLAIS Robert Patrick Goucher Jr., 67, of North Smithfield, died Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2015, surrounded by his loving family. He was the son of the late Robert P. Goucher, Sr. and the late Elizabeth (Burke) Goucher, raised in Lincoln and lived with his daughter and family in North Smithfield for the past 22 years. Robert retired from work after 40 years of service at Federal Products/ Esterline. He loved playing chess with his grand- children, loved music very much and always related songs as lessons when teaching his children and grandchildren life lessons. Although Robert will be greatly missed, his family is comforted by the fact that he is at home with God and reunited with his late parents and son. Robert is survived by his daughter, Marie (Goucher) Walkow and her hus- band, Jeff Walkow, of North Smithfield and one brother, Lawrence Goucher; seven grandchildren, Justin Walkow, Stephanie Walkow, Jacob Walkow, Matthew Walkow, Erin Goucher, Morgan Perry, Paige Bagley; two great grandchildren, Cameron Walkow, Kolton Robertson. He was the father of the late Jason Robert Goucher. His funeral was celebrated Dec. 29, 2015 from Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln, with a Mass of Christian burial in St. Jude's Church, 301 Front Street, Lincoln. Burial was private. Beverly (Grout) Beaven, 94, of Lincoln passed away peacefully Sunday, Dec. 20, 2015, at Heritage Hills Nursing Center, Smithfield. Born in Pawtucket, a daughter of the late Henry C. and Dorothy (Halliday) Grout, she had lived in North Providence before moving to Lincoln 25 years ago. Mrs. Beaven was a teacher in home economics and taught in Lincoln, Pawtucket and North Providence for 21 years before retiring in 1983. She was a 1939 graduate of Pawtucket (now Tolman) High School and a 1943 grad- uate of the University of Rhode Island. She was a member of the Blackstone Valley Retired Teachers' Association. She was a member of Lincoln Country Club for more than 52 years where she held many offices and was given an honorary membership. She was also a bowler for many years and enjoyed playing bridge. She was a member of the Lincoln, Cumberland and Smithfield Senior Centers, and was a member of the Washington Hills Association where she was secretary for many years. She is survived by one son, Robert P. Beaven Jr. of West Warwick. She was the mother of the late Bradford S. Beaven and the sister of the late Lois Calverley Eddy. Beverly Beaven Peg (Cooper) Sargeson, 87, of Lincoln passed away peacefully Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2015, at Mount St. Rita Health Centre, Cumberland, surrounded by her lov- ing family. She was the beloved wife of Robert H. Sargeson. Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Willis and Thetis (Livingston) Cooper, she had lived in Lincoln for the past 57 years. Peg was the payroll administrator for the Lincoln School Department for 25 years before retiring. She served as the president of the Lonsdale PTA. She was a member of Candleberry Chapel in Attleboro, Mass., where she also served as a deacon. She was a member and past president of the Cumberland-Lincoln Community Chorus. Besides her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Susan L. Annon and Debra A. Carney, both of Lincoln, and Donna B. Parmin of Colorado Springs, Colo.; one son, Robert P. Sargeson of Sage, Ark.; one sister, Lucy Urick of Bonita Springs, Fla.; nine grandchildren; six great grandchil- dren; and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late George Cooper. Her memorial service will be held at a later date in the spring in Candleberry Chapel, 381 South Main St., Attleboro, Mass. Her burial will be private in Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
