OSH Circular 2015 - 12 (25 November 2015)
DISTRACTED DRIVING KILLS !
DON'T ALLOW IT TO KILL YOU……… !
Or To Touch Any Of The Precious Lives That Work
Alongside You.
As time passes, the evidence
becomes clearer and clearer that
electronic device use while
operating a vehicle (whether it
comes in the form of cell -
phoning, texting, e - mail access,
Bluetooth use, or any of the other
potentially distractive forms of
communication or
entertainment) is a life -
threatening proposition .
Within the waterfront's
industrial environment, those
hazards take on an even greater
meaning and pose an even
greater risk.
The most recent study
undertaken by the Automobile
Association of America (AAA)
now points an accusatory finger
at hands - free cell phone use.
