12 | MARCH 2016 nshoremag.com Have a thought? We want to hear it. Send it to: editor@nshoremag.com or visit us at nshoremag.com Dear Kiley, Thank you for including me in the December issue ["Winter: A Tribute," page 250]! It was very well done, and I thought the introduction was beautifully written. I will be working on my newsletter for this month, and I look forward to including a link to it. Let's hope for a bit of snow! M A R Y R O S E O ' C O N N E L L , V I A E M A I L I picked up the magazine at the local bookstore yesterday. The article ["Winter: A Tribute," page 250] is fantastic; congratulations! It's a wonderful blend, and your descriptions really show our individuality but also the common thread. I think our paint- ings work so well togeth- er, we should propose an exhibit somewhere! M E L O D Y P H A N E U F, V I A E M A I L I wanted to thank you for featuring us in the December issue ["Creatives for a Cure," page 158]. This is a very pivotal time for us as we move to much larger productions in 2016, and the more eyes and ears we can reach, the better. We are about to give our annual donation to the Termeer Center, and it looks to be the best year we have had. So the momentum for 2016 is needed and the article could be the catalyst for a great year as we look for sponsors. You have an amazing team. V O I C E S O F H O P E P R E S I D E N T / F O U N D E R G R E G C H A S TA I N , V I A E M A I L Your Winter Gala raffle, cosponsored by Tesoro Boston, who provided the beautiful diamond necklace, raised $2,640 to help support the hunger-relief programs of The Open Door. This donation comes at a time when an increased number of people are turning to us for food assistance. We will use this investment in our organization to help improve the lives and health of those in our community who are struggling to make ends meet. With this donation, The Open Door will continue to carry out its mission to alleviate the impact of hunger in our community using practical strategies to connect people to good food, to advocate on behalf of those in need, and to engage others in the work of building food security. Your support is appreciated. We look forward to partnering again with you in the future.
