| 7 1-800-FUN-TOWN As biking continues to grow in popularity, so do the number of visitors enjoying Frankenmuth's scenic rural roads and neighborhoods. While it is a short drive to a dedicated off-road trail, many visitors are finding their way to Frankenmuth via two established trails that go right through Michigan's Little Bavaria. U.S. Bike Route 20 and the Iron Belle Trail feature views of the Cass River and the new rock dam as well as the famous Holz-Brucke or wooden covered bridge. For maps and nearby trail options, check out www.frankenmuth.org. Fishing Located in the heart of Frankenmuth at the Cass River Dam, the Frankenmuth Fish Passage project which was completed in 2015, reconnects fish of the Saginaw Bay to more than 73 miles of historically significant spawning grounds.
