The kit comes with bolts to hold in the top supports, which you remove to fold up the rack. If I can find some quick-release pins that are long enough and fit the holes, I'll replace the bolts in the future. I tested the rack to see how strong it was. If it's strong enough to hold 185 pounds of editor manliness, it's strong enough to support four Miata wheels and tires. The brackets for the center retainer rod have two predrilled bolt holes, but we couldn't slip the retainer rod through the hub centers of the wheels, so we had to drill one new hole and relocate the brackets. Again, use a punch so the drill doesn't walk when you apply power. We only needed to drill one new hole in the side arms to relocate the brackets. The kit comes with great little quick-release pins to hold the retainer rods in the brackets. 11 12 14 16 13 15 43
