A large segment of customers look online before making purchasing decisions, and hav- ing recent, relevant content consistently posted online will increase your visibility in Google and allow potential customers to see some of your best work. Staying on top of social media trends is also important, as platforms like Instagram have now become major hubs for graph- ics installers to share their work, and use hashtags to gain visibility from graph- ics manufacturers, fellow installers and potential customers. Recordkeeping—There is no quicker way to earn a new piece of business than by showing a prospective customer a similar example of the project they are hoping to complete. Whether it's a cer- tain design style, unique installation type or rare vehicle wrap, having pho- tos, video and an overview of a project you've completed will always come in handy—for both your customers and for you. If you don't have records, you may not remember which product you used on an installation, or be able to prove to a client that you have the experience to undertake their business. Always have someone on your team assigned to tak- ing pictures and video of a project, and make sure you have an organized system in place so that you can easily retrieve your files.
