2016 FOOTBALL RECRUITING ISSUE energy. He has an extremely powerful lower half and utilizes his hands well. The unique thing about him is, as big and powerful as he is, he's equally as explosive and athletic. He can dunk a basketball at 6-2 and almost 300 pounds. He got to us late, coming in his junior year, but was dedicated and focused in the weight room and proved to be a huge asset to our pro- gram. We believe he is only scratching the surface ability-wise and will con- tinue to progress as a player." • Rivals.com Mid-Atlantic Recruit- ing Analyst Adam Friedman: "I think at Michigan, he'll develop into an in- terior type of player. That's primarily because of how broad he is — he's not a super tall or long guy. He does have broad shoulders, and there's room to add weight to his frame. He's not a super explosive guy off the edge, but from the middle it's a positive for him. His body type is going to be destined for the inside." • Tom Lemming Of Prep Football Report: "He had a great year, even though he's a kid that a lot of people keep forgetting about. As a defensive lineman, he's not super big, but boy does he play well. When you watch him on film, he was probably the big- gest sleeper in the state of New Jer- sey this year. I saw him only because I was already at his school, or I wouldn't have gone out to see him. He's got real strong, violent hands. He's quicker than fast, and even though he's under- sized a bit, it's not by a lot. I thought he was the best defensive player on that DePaul team, and they have some real good players."
