2016 FOOTBALL RECRUITING ISSUE alyst Blair Angulo: "I think he's re- ally good. He's very physical at the point of attack, and he's a really hard worker. He plays with a good pad level and is football sound as far as gaps are concerned. I think his work ethic is going to carry him to great places in college. "One of his assistant coaches told me that when Carlo was a freshman and arrived on the team, he took ex- tra reps, stayed after practice and hit the sled. He sort of made the juniors and seniors work harder, even as a freshman. "It will be kind of a big jump for him because of the competition level he's seen in Colorado, but I think his work ethic and his ability to outwork everybody will help him. The fact that he's an early enrollee is going to be big too. He's strong already, but he'll get stronger in college. He has a chance to be really good. "Looking at his film and his skill set I think, if he can keep the speed and keep the aggression he has now, he doesn't have a lot of weaknesses." • Tom Lemming of Prep Football Report: "He turned out to be the best player in Colorado this year. He is not only a great teammate and leader off the field, but a great kid too. He's a 100 percent good catch all-around. "He's an explosive ballplayer, and he's going to keep getting bigger, too. Maybe he gets to 280, 290, and he might wind up playing inside some day, but right now he's a de- fensive end. He has quick hands, an aggressive style of play and good natural instincts for football."
