NEW SCORE AWARDS POLICY 2016 RED KAP MILESTONE AWARDS - SCORE Milestone Awards are presented to each competitor who successfully completes every mile of all 2016 SCORE events. This milestone award recognizes their achievement in successfully competing in and finishing all 2016 SCORE events! 2016 Overall Fastest Milestone Competitor - This award is presented to the one competitor that completes all five 2016 SCORE races with the lowest total combined elapsed time for all five events. Official final result times are used for calculation. 2016 Overall Point Champions - Awards are presented to each of the following Pro vehicle groups: • TRUCKS • MOTOS • BUGGIES • UTVS Total points are accumulated for all five (5) 2016 SCORE events, and the participant with the highest point total for their group will be recognized as a Group Champion in the above four (4) categories for 2016. Participation in the Baja 1000 is mandatory to qualify for this championship. A listing of classes in each Pro Group is shown below. 2016 Individual Class Champions - Each SCORE class will be awarded year-end class finish position trophies to the top three (3) finishers in their respective class. All five (5) races count towards the Class Championship. To be eligible for a Class Champion award, participant must compete and finish a minimum of three (3) 2016 SCORE events. Participation in the Baja 1000 is mandatory to qualify for a Class Championship. Individual Event Awards - Trophies are awarded to top three (3) finishers in each class at the conclusion of each SCORE event A Trophy is also presented to the Overall Winner in each Pro vehicle group in the four (4) groups shown below.. These trophies are based on official class results for the event. Trophy Awards - IMPORTANT: You must arrange to have your trophy accepted by someone else if you are not going to attend an event or year-end awards ceremony.
