Burgeson has a his- tory of working as a creative and account manager with national brands such as Whirl- pool, Maytag, Gladi- ator GarageWorks, United Federal Credit Union and Stryker Flex Financial. As a writer, he has been published in multiple print and online journalistic sites as well as serving as an editor for daily newspapers and con- sumer magazine publications. FCCC Investing $23 Million to Expand Operations Daimler Trucks North America (DTNA) will invest $22.7 million in Freightliner Custom Chassis Corp. (FCCC) to expand facilities and improve operations in South Carolina. FCCC is dedicating the money for the construction of a new logistics center as well as expansions of the current office building, employee parking lot, completed chassis parking and loading/delivery operations. In addition, the investment will allow FCCC to utilize nearly 60 percent more component kitting. In addition to the logistical and process improvements, the investment will provide an expansion to the current office building, which will provide a 25 percent increase in personal work stations, increase the training room capacity from 25 to 100, double the amount of available team work space and increase the cafeteria capacity from 15 to 119. Harter Named NoCO Partnership Chairman Paul Harter, president and CEO of Aqua-Hot Heating Systems, has been elected chairman of the Northern Colo- rado Manufacturing Partnership (NoCO P a r t n e r s h i p ) . T h e regional, volunteer association consists of manufacturers, edu- cational institutions, economic and work- force development groups, and partner organizations. It connects public and pri- vate enterprises to achieve shared goals and further community interests. "I'm proud to serve in this capacity," said Harter. "We have a vibrant manufac- turing landscape in Northern Colorado. It's rewarding to help the community network and share ideas, and to mentor the next generation of industry leaders." Aqua-Hot Heating Solutions provides hydronic heating systems for RVs, trucks, buses, heavy equipment cabs, UTVs and alternative fuel vehicles. Lazydays Names Paredes GSM of Colorado Store Lazydays has promoted James Paredes to general sales manager (GSM) for the company's new Johnstown, Colo., dealer- ship. Paredes has 20 years of retail experi- ence, including sales and managerial roles in both the automotive and RV industries. Lazydays recently expanded into the Colorado market following its acquisition of RV America, which includes two Denver- area RV dealerships in Aurora and Long- mont as well as the Johnstown dealership in Northern Colorado. In his new role as GSM, Paredes will oversee the day-to-day sales operations of the Johnstown location. HARTER BURGESON Heartland RV Announces Major Development in Howe, Ind. Heartland RV plans to break ground on a 52,200-square-foot state-of-the-art RV service center, warehouse and executive office space on 64 acres in Howe, Ind. The project is already under way and officials expect to complete construction in late spring. The new facility will be fully-staffed and operational by June 1. "The commitment by Heartland RV and Thor Industries to the LaGrange County community demonstrates tremendous progress. For the first time in approximately five years, we can proudly say that all of Fawn River Crossing Industrial Park is privately- owned and back on the county tax rolls," said Ryne Krock, president and CEO of the LaGrange County Economic Development Corp. "We are encouraged by this project and potentially additional development by Heartland RV in LaGrange County in the future." Blue Ox Names Bain as Territory Sales Rep Ryan M. Bain recently joined Blue Ox as RV products sales representative for the upper Midwest serving RV and truck acces- sory customers in North Dakota, South Dakota and Minnesota. Prior to joining the Blue Ox team, Bain worked as a management trainee for Enter- prise Holdings, where he trained junior per- sonnel in computer programs used, rental process, proper under- writing and risk man- agement. From 2007 to 2012 he served as a petty officer third class in the U.S. Navy, where he was responsible for the safe launching and recovering of aircraft on board naval vessels while underway, as well as super- vising and training eight junior personnel.
