EMCEES MARTIN BRYANT – MARCH 12 Martin Bryant is Editor in Chief at international technology news site The Next Web. Based in Manchester, UK, he prides himself on providing a perspective informed by, but removed from, the Silicon Valley worldview. TIM CHANG – MARCH 12 Tim Chang is a managing director at Mayfield Fund, a leading early-stage technology venture capital firm based in Silicon Valley. Chang leads consumer and mobile investments, with a focus on 3C (commerce+community+content), next- gen marketplaces, smart home and robotics, gaming/ VR/AR, quantified self and personal transformative technologies. NINA CURLEY – MARCH 12 Nina Curley was previously the Managing Director of Flat6Labs Abu Dhabi, an accelera- tor program for technology startups focused on digital content and media. With a background in cognitive neuroscience and decision making, she is now exploring the psychology of collabo- rative team building and lean startup mentality. ROGER HAMILTON – MARCH 12 Roger James Hamilton is a futurist and entre- preneur. He is Founder of Entrepreneurs Institute and creator of GeniusU and the Wealth Dynamics profiling system used by over 500,000 entrepreneurs around the world. Hamilton's Bali resort, Vision Villas, is Asia's first Entrepreneur Resor t, running iLab accelerator programs throughout the year. ANDREW HYDE – MARCH 13 Andrew Hyde is the founder of two worldwide movements in Startup Weekend and Startup Week. He lives in Boulder, Colorado working at Techstars and traveling to twenty countries a year meeting and helping entrepreneurs dis- cover their potential. He is an avid stay-at-home bartender. LEAH HUNTER – MARCH 13 A journalist who covers the human side of emerging tech, Leah Hunter co-created the Design of Wearables series for California Col- lege of the Arts. She guest lectures at NYU, The University of Michigan's Ross School of Busi- ness and UC Berkeley. She shows up on stages around the world – usually in boots. CHRISTOPHER KAY – MARCH 12 Christopher Kay is Senior Vice President and Chief Innovation Officer at Humana. In this role, he works closely with internal business leaders as well as outside partners to design, test and operationalize game-changing innovations. He is a member of the Management Team, which sets the strategic direction for the company. NIKI MANBY – MARCH 12 Niki Manby is Chief Operating Officer of Citi Ventures, the Citi innovation group committed to conceiving, launching and scaling new initia- tives with the potential to transform financial services. Previously she led global strategy and emerging product and innovation divisions at Visa Inc. She is a Board Advisor for IDEO.org. BOB METCALFE – MARCH 13 Bob Metcalfe is an Internet pioneer since 1970 and inventor of Ethernet and Founder of billion-dollar networking 3Com, now merged with HP after thirty years. He is a recipient of the National Medal of Technology. During the 1990s, he was a publisher-pundit with IDG/ InfoWorld. During the 2000s, he was a venture capitalist with Polaris. Now Bob is a Professor of Innovation at The University of Texas at Austin. MONTY MUNFORD – MARCH 12 Monty Munford has 15 years' experience in the mobile, web and digital sectors. He writes on tech for The Economist, Forbes, Mashable, TechCrunch and Wired UK, and he has a weekly column for UK broadsheet The Telegraph. He speaks on the BBC World Service and is a sought-after speaker in cities such as London, San Francisco, Lagos, Dublin and at Oxford University. MIA SAINI – MARCH 12 Mia Saini is the cofounder and CEO of Oars + Alps – an athletically-minded online men's skin- care line. The brand engineers skin solutions for the active, adventurous, ambitious man. The company launched in early 2015 after Mia resigned from her high-profile job as a TV reporter with Bloomberg TV, one of the largest financial TV networks in the world, because her dreams were even larger. CHRIS SHIPLEY – MARCH 12 A technology journalist and analyst for more than thirty years, Chris Shipley is passionate about entrepreneurship as the driver of innova- tion, economic growth, sustainability and social impact. She has built a career identifying inno- vative startups that create markets and drive positive change. As the executive producer of the DEMO conference from 1996 to 2009, Ship- ley helped more than 1,500 companies make their market debut. TUCKER MAX – MARCH 12 Tucker Max is the Cofounder and CEO of Book In A Box and a #1 bestselling author. ROBIN WAUTERS – MARCH 12 Robin Wauters is a seasoned European tech- nology journalist and media entrepreneur who founded Tech.eu after serving as senior editor at publications such as TechCrunch and The Next Web. JOSEPH VARDI – MARCH 12 Joseph Yossi Vardi is one of Israel's first high- tech entrepreneurs. For over forty years, he has founded and helped to build over sixty high-tech companies in a variety of fields – among them software, energy, Internet, mobile, electro-op- tics and water technology.
