FORMATS (*Programming is listed by format, as opposed to track.) *Book Readings Twenty-minute sessions featuring one or two authors presenting their recently, or soon to be released publication. Located in ACC, Room 10AB. *Book Signings Located at the SX Bookstore, many of the authors participating in the Book Reading program will be signing copies of their work after their session. Duals Hour-long conversations between two speakers, or a one-on-one interview. *Featured Sessions A series of hour-long presentations. This distinguished series combines both accomplished and newly established thought leaders. *Keynotes Hour-long talks from some of the world's most inspired thinkers. These take the form of a solo, dual or interview format. Keynotes sessions are 2:00–3:00pm daily. Meet Ups SXSW Meet Ups are hour-long networking mixers dedicated to a particular area of interest or skillset and are led by an expert in the field. *Mentor Sessions Mentor Sessions are seven-minute, one-on-one career related counsel with an established industry professional. Sign-up in advance online or through our SXSW GO ® App is required. Sign up will be open until the start of a session if space is available. Panels Panel sessions are hour-long discussions with up to four speakers, some- times led by a moderator. Pitch Events These are opportunities for new technology companies to pitch their ideas to a live audience, as well as a panel of expert judges, and vary in duration. Solos Solos are hour-long presentations with one speaker. Workshops In-depth, hands-on courses that cover a variety of topics. Taught by creative leaders in their industry, these vary from two to eight hours. Advanced sign-up through our online schedule or SXSW GO ® App is required. For 2016, we've organized our sessions sortable in two ways: Tracks and Formats. Tracks are there to help easily identify the topics of pro- gramming while the format determines how information is presented to the audience. For the purposes of navigating the content of sessions in this program guide, sections are grouped by Track or Format.
