KEY ATTRIBUTES • Bright red skin color • Round, smooth tubers • Uniform tuber size profile • Produces a high percentage of B sized tubers • Medium specific gravity (1.085 average) HISTORY • Developed by the North Dakota State University potato breeding program and the North Dakota Agricultural Experiment Station • Released in 2014 • PVP application submitted STORAGE • Retains bright red skin color in storage • Experts recommend attaining good skin set prior to harvest by appropriate nitrogen management and use of vine desiccants in order to retain marketability.
