The Launch competition highlights emerging innovations
impacting education. Ten early-stage startups have
been selected to compete in the fifth annual event at
SXSWedu. These ten finalists will take the stage and pitch
their company to a live audience and esteemed judging
panel made up of classroom educators, school leaders,
successful entrepreneurs and investors.

Tuesday, March 8
Launch Competition Lightning Round
2:00pm - 4:00pm
All ten Launch 2016 finalists will take a turn pitching their
education startup to the judging panel and live audience in
this fast-paced kickoff to the competition.
Startup Showcase
hosted by Macmillan Learning
6:00pm - 8:00pm
Visit one-on-one with this year's SXSWedu Launch finalists
and other startups, demo their products and enjoy cocktails
during the Startup Showcase.
Wednesday, March 9
Launch Competition Showdown Round
2:00pm - 3:00pm
The judges' top three Launch finalists will compete for high-
est honors in the competition's final showdown round.
