2.13-2.14 Los Angeles Pottery Show For a chance to see highly collectible pottery from yesterday, today and tomorrow, be sure to set the date to attend the 17th Annual Los Angeles Pottery Show at the Pasadena Convention Center. Attendees will be blown away at the unexpected art you find! David Rago, auctioneer, author and pottery expert from Ragoarts, will be making a special guest appearance as guest appraiser for the 15th year running. All the proceeds collected from the appraisals that night will be donated to the American Museum of Ceramic Art (AMOCA) to support the art of ceramics and many other artistic endeavors through exhibitions, collections, outreach and studio programming. The Los Angeles Pottery Show started with the show producers, Ken Stalcup and Dennis Warden, following through on the idea of wanting to bring collectors together to share in the appreciation for the art. After much planning, the Los Angeles Pottery Show was brought to life—little did Stalcup and Warden know that their idea would become such a huge success with thousands of attendees. The duo extends the invitation for everyone to discover and browse through the world of pottery and tile art. Whether it's something you know a lot about or just want to learn, there is so much art and history to experience! Sat., 10 a.m.-6 p.m., Sun., 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Tickets $14.
