Bishop Moore Boudreaux, one of the most coveted line recruits in the country, picked Notre Dame over College Football Playoff participants Clemson and Oklahoma. He was a dominant tackle in high school, but will play guard — where his toughness and power should flourish — for the Irish. 17. D.J. MORGAN, S Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco After years of falling short in num- bers at safety, Notre Dame was able to add excellent depth after Morgan jumped on board. He is a high-IQ defender that projects at both strong safety and the nickel position. He's rangy and a fundamentally sound player. 18. IAN BOOK, QB El Dorado Hills (Calif.) Oak Ridge Book does not have the physical tools or pedigree of the current signal- callers on the roster, but offensive co- ordinator/quarterbacks coach Mike Sanford loves his game. He is a quality athlete with an above-average arm, ac- curacy and intelligence. 19. JAMIR JONES, LB/DE Rochester (N.Y.) Aquinas Institute Jones was a jack-of-all-trades player in high school, but will get a chance to make a home at linebacker. He is a smooth athlete, covers a lot of ground and continues to improve his strength. He showed off impressive in-the-box instincts and productivity as a senior. 20. SPENCER PERRY, S Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy Perry is an impressive combination of size and speed. He flies around the field looking for opportunities to deliver punishment to ball carriers and receivers. He is a box safety that does his best work against the run, which is why some believe a move to linebacker is in his future. 21. ADETOKUNBO OGUNDEJI, DE Walled Lake (Mich.) Central A knee injury cost him most of his senior year, but Ogundeji is still a player the staff is excited about. He is quite raw and needs a lot of work in the weight room, but he has good natural strength, quickness off the line and the potential to emerge as a key rotation player. 22. DEON MCINTOSH, RB Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) Cardinal Gibbons Landing McIntosh gives Notre Dame quality depth in the backfield, and adds a player with enough speed to rip off big runs. He is more of a change-of-pace back, complement- ing the power that Jones brings to the game. 23. JOHN SHANNON, LS Wilmette (Ill.) Loyola Academy Shannon was rated as the top long snapper in the country. He'll redshirt as a freshman and then spend the next four years showing off his fast and ac- curate snapping skills. ✦
