Dessert: Chocolate Bourbon Pecan Pie Recipe by Anital Ingredients: 1 pie shell (9 inches) 1 cup white sugar 1 cup light corn syrup 1/2 cup butter 4 eggs (beaten) 1/4 cup bourbon 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1/4 teaspoon salt 6 ounces semisweet chocolate chips 1 cup chopped pecans Directions: Preheat the oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit and heat the sugar, corn syrup, and butter over medium heat in a small saucepan, constantly stirring. Once the butter melts and sugar dissolves, cool the mixture slightly. Mix the eggs, bourbon, vanilla, and salt together in a large bowl and slowly pour the sugar mixture into the egg mixture, whisking constantly. Mix in the chocolate chips and pecans, pour into the pie shell, and bake for 50 to 55 minutes (or until set and golden). May be served warm or chilled.
