INSIDE MICHIGAN ATHLETICS Getting To Know Redshirt Sophomore Defensive Tackle Bryan Mone Redshirt sophomore defensive tackle Bryan Mone played in 12 games and started one as a true freshman in 2014. He was poised for a huge sophomore campaign last year when a leg injury caused him to miss the entire season. He's back, healthy and at full strength and figures to be a key piece of Michi- gan's stout defensive line in 2016. Nickname: "It's just B-Mone." Favorite Restaurant In Ann Arbor: "My favorite restaurant is Mr. Spots." Best meal he can cook by himself: "I'm not much of a cook, so ramen noodles." Sports he plays besides football: "Basketball is really the only other sport I played." Hobbies: "I love to sleep and eat. I guess that's the life of a D-lineman." Favorite T V show: "My favorite show is 'That '70s Show.'" Favorite movie: " That 's a little tougher, but I'll say 'Four Brothers.'" Dream vacation: "Probably China. I really want to go there." Favorite professional athlete: "My favorite athlete is Serena Williams. She is so good at her sport." Role model: " That's my mom for sure, 100 percent." Why he chose football over other sports: "It ended up being an easy choice for me. I'm a big guy and I like to hit people, so football was the only way to go." What he hopes to do after football at Michigan: "I'm not exactly sure what I'll be doing, but I want to be able to buy my mom a house some- day." His overall U-M experience: "My experience at Michigan has been amazing. I love the fans and every- thing about a football Saturday. I love it all really. I wouldn't want to be any- where else." — Brandon Brown Mone notched nine tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss and a fumble recovery as a true fresh- man in 2014 before missing last year with an injury.
