3. Isaac Runs — Isaac broke off runs of 29 and 30 yards in the game, demon- strating the type of moves and breakaway speed for a lankier back (6-3, 228) that continue to have Michigan fans intrigued by him. Isaac and Johnson appear to be the potential home run threats among the running backs at this point, and Isaac got the perfect opportunity to showcase at least hitting doubles under the lights at Michigan Stadium. He certainly appeared to be fully healthy in the spring game and afterward talked about his progression in Michigan's system under Jim Harbaugh. He'll go into the fall ready to carve out time he didn't earn last year, and runs like he showed in the spring game won't hurt. 4. Thomas' Interception — Senior safety Dymonte Thomas made a leaping, sprawling pickoff as the first half of the spring game ended, keeping the score 7-7. His team would eventually win the game by a point, and Thomas' play proved vital. He'll be counted on in Michigan's last line of defense this year, and given the way defensive coordinator Don Brown likes to blitz and gamble and put pressure on quarterbacks, Thomas will have many opportunities for more interceptions. 5. Harris With The Grab — Michigan continues looking for playmaking wide receivers and redshirt freshman Drake Harris stepped up for a big catch in the spring game. O'Korn hung a deep ball down the western sideline in Michigan Stadium and Harris ran under it, fighting off a defender to make the reception. He could be a field stretcher for the Wolverines this fall and showed a sample under the lights. — John Borton
