MUST ATTEND
EVENTS
During the SCORE Baja 500
there are a few events that fans
visiting Ensenada must attend
to get the full race experience.
SCORE Contingency: This takes
place on one of Ensenada's main
boulevards. Check the SCORE
International race schedule for
the exact time and location.
Contingency is where many
of the race vehicles and teams
take over several blocks and
are there for fans to see up-
close. Many teams provide free
swag, and most of the drivers
and crew are present signing
autographs to anyone who
asks. Make sure to get there
early as the crowds are huge.
Monster Energy Papas & Beer
Street Party: After the SCORE
qualifying sessions, the evenings
in Ensenada explode with a
festive atmosphere. One of
the most popular parties in
town is the Monster Energy
Papas & Beer Street Party. Here
you can dance, drink, and
enjoy local food with other
SCORE fans and race teams,
celebrating the upcoming race.
SCORE Baja 500 Race Day:
While it's difficult to watch
a 500-mile race, one of the
best spots for spectators is at
the start/finsih line area which
includes the infamous Ensenada
Wash. On race day, SCORE
International sets off vehicles
early in the morning. Grab
a cup of coffee and a pan-
dulce, and enjoy watching the
Unlimited Trophy Trucks, Class
1 vehicles, Pro Motorcycles and
more take off from the green
flag. The racers will also drive
through town before they hit
the desert, so look for popular
spots where you can watch then
make the turn from the street
onto the rough race course.
