O
ne of the great
things to come
out of racing
is innovation.
Occasionally, we
see vehicles that
were built as unique concepts,
incorporating designs that are
ahead of the curve. An example
of this is John and Jack Yeiser's
Chevy race truck. This truck is
another in the Yeiser's stable of
off-road race vehicles that are
examples of cutting edge design.
Many recall the Yeiser's F2000
1968 Ford F-100 with a 1000
horsepower twin-turbo engine
featured in the January 2016
issue. The Chevy, however, is
a different beast altogether.

Robinson at CST Performance
Suspension, the truck was
designed to compete in Trophy
Truck divisions, and incorporated
a different approach to what
was being built at the time.
"While most Trophy Trucks
were getting heavier and utilizing
larger diameter tires, Robinson
went the opposite direction,
building a lightweight vehicle
that he thought would have
an advantage over the heavier
trucks," said 17-year-old Jack
Yeiser. "Unknowing to Robinson,
he actually built a Trophy Truck
