Neal Young and Coleen Sylvester both join the company's regional sales department. Young joins Vantage Apparel after 15 years working as a key account manager for Sanford B2B, where he won multiple awards for top salesperson. Young's sales territory covers Oklahoma and Texas. Sylvester comes to Vantage Apparel with a strong background in apparel sales. Prior to Vantage, Sylvester served as the senior sales executive at TravisMathew Golf Apparel. In addition to her experience with TravisMathew, Sylvester brings more than 18 years of experience as a regional sales manager working for Cutter & Buck. DecoNetwork (Whittier, Calif.) appoints Neil Pentland, former chairman and commercial manager, as chief executive officer by its board of directors. The position was previously held by Martin Kristiaman since January 2012. Kristiaman will continue to serve and advise the company as a member of its board of directors. "We've achieved so much since I first took on this position back in 2006, but we're always looking for new ways to help our customers develop and streamline their businesses," says Pentland. With this change, the new CEO says he is looking ahead. Pentland cites a "process of continuous improvement" on DecoNetwork's existing business hub and integration of accounting systems, payment gateways, and shipping providers into the DecoNetwork order management system as crucial components to the company's future. "The easier basic processes are, the more time our clients can spend on expanding their own product horizons and widening their market reach," adds Pentland. Industry Updates BOLINGBROOK, Ill.—S&S Activewear debuts its newly designed website, offering improvements in design such as enhanced navigation, a "quick look" feature for the site's shopping cart function, a monthly video showcasing timely and seasonal inventory, and a refined product search algorithm. Highlights including lower shelf heights for ease of access, as well as a flow pattern that ensures an order picker moves on a linear path.
