ex ample submission Keeping Progressive Dynamics' lithium battery products abreast with the latest technology while keeping up with orders, Progressive's manufacturing team has been a lineup of shining stars. The team has been instrumental in continuing to develop "bright ideas" for the company and the RV industry. The team includes, Jeff Cornell, Laurie Pfiester, Ralph McGee, Randy Rial, Brian Aldrich, Cindy Weimer, Rita Bowhuis, Holden Warren, Bill James, Brad Parker, Mike Sherrill, Carrie Zabawa, and Rich Pomeroy. (pictured at top-right) Due to the changing nature of lithium battery technology – including new surface mount technology – Progressive's engineering team has to make frequent changes to the products and the manufacturing team has to adjust its procedures to keep up with those changes. Team leader Randy Rial (at left in middle photo) promotes teamwork and group frequently rewrites its quality manual for PDI to improve its procedures. All of this could put a dent in the team's ability to make its production goals, but March was the company's biggest month ever for deliveries, and the manufacturing team's output met the demand, resulting in no backorders for the month. Progressive Dynamics' service team of David Watson, Darlene Fast and Rae Buskirk (bottom- right) takes over where the manufacturing team leaves off – servicing customers and making sure the quality of product is consistent. "We work on a team effort here. Each team works very well together," says VP of Sales and Marketing Mike Walters. "Sales works with engineering and with manufacturing.
