led by DeAngelo
Yancey and Cameron Posey. Yancey is
the known. He followed a resurgent junior season
with a stellar spring, not only continuing to estab-
lish himself as a deep threat but also emerging as a
consistent pass-catcher on all routes and a physical
player underneath. Posey is the riser. As the unques-
tioned top slot receiver now that Danny Anthrop is
gone, Posey may be the team's most reliable play-
er and could develop into a third-down-converting
machine, nearly uncoverable on slants, but it was
a newly showcased after-the-catch slipperiness that
truly impressed this spring. Don't sleep on Bilal
Marshall and Gregory Phillips, under-the-
radar guys who showed sticky hands and could excel
if given a chance. … David Blough needed to
show more poise in the pocket this spring, and a
big piece of that was better footwork. It got "sloppy"
(in his words) at times last season, and with new
coach Tim Lester emphasizing it all spring, Blough
got better. More than once this spring, Blough had
a collapsing pocket around him but stood tall, sim-
