Purdue can be good next season, but needs to redeem itself in March

ast year in a cramped locker room in Louisville,
Purdue mourned the end of its season, sadness
permeating throughout that space after it had
given away a game it had all but sewn up against
Cincinnati.
A year later the feeling in a much more spacious area
in Denver was more of shock. Watery eyes gave way to
dazed, detached stares after it happened again, this
time against Little Rock, after Purdue led by 13 with
less than four minutes to go before losing in overtime.
Again.
It was shocking to those involved.
But it would have been really shocking had it not
happened before, many times actually.
Purdue's promising 2015-16 season ended with the
loudest of thuds after the Boilermakers had entered the

will have a strong nucleus from which to build.
