Purdue used the groundbreaking ceremony for the new $65-million football performance complex
April 15 to also host a reunion of its Super Bowl champions. Eleven former champs attended, with
Chukki Okobi, a former center, eagerly squatting in front for a picture. Behind him are (left to right)
Drew Brees, Jeff Zgonina, Rosevelt Colvin, Brandon Gorin, Keena Turner, Bob Griese, Jim Schwantz,
David Nugent, Gene Mruczkowski and John Standeford. Donors, administrators and former players
attended the dinner program that preceded the groundbreaking.
