WATER POLO (29-6 OVERALL, 7-0 CWPA) The fifth-ranked Wolverines won the program's sixth CWPA title and first since 2010 with a 9-2 win over No. 14 Indiana to qualify for the 10-team NCAA Championship … The two goals allowed tied for the fewest ever in a CWPA title contest, while the seven- goal margin of victory stood as Michi- gan's largest in a conference final … Senior Ali Thomason and rookie Kim Johnson were named to the first-team all-conference and first-team CWPA All-Tournament squads … Thomason was also named the CWPA Tournament MVP, while Johnson was picked as the league's top rookie … Thomason broke the school's single-season record with 90 goals … Michigan opened NCAA play in Los Angeles against Arizona State May 13. ❏ Senior co-captain Cindy Ofili has won 12 Big Ten Track Athlete of the Week honors in her career, most recently on May 4 after becoming the fifth woman to win back-to-back Drake Relay titles in the 100-meter hurdles.
