CHAMPIONSHIP PLUNGE
The No. 5 water polo team jumped into the pool alongside second-
year head coach Dr. Marcelo Leonardi after clinching its first
Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) conference title since
2010, qualifying Michigan for the 10-team NCAA Championship.
The Wolverines' 9-2 victory over No. 14 Indiana May 1 gave the
program its sixth league crown in 16 years of existence.
