CORE's Class 5 can be difficult for anyone who
prefers powerful four-wheel drive vehicles. For
those who can be successful in it, however, Class
5 can turn a good driver into a great one. With
limited horsepower from a VW engine, but with
greater suspension capabilities, Victor Cesena
took the 2015 SCORE Class 5 championship to prove his
driving skills. "The roads at the 2015 SCORE Baja 1000
were very rough," said Cesena. "The big trucks run through
the course first and leave lots of ruts and debris for the
