DS MEDIA LLC Dahlgren: Oh yes! It seems that something great always happens on each trip to Baja. My best one overall is riding off the podium with SCORE Pro Moto Unlimited racer Mark Samuels. He's a hilarious guy. SJ: Who within the SCORE community are some of the people you've come to admire and why? Dahlgren: I admire who I think is the godfather of off- road racing, Ivan Stewart. First and foremost he's kind, he respects everyone, he's humble, and he loves what he does. SJ: Who are some of your favorite SCORE racers and people you like to hang around with at races and events? Dahlgren: All of them are great and whenever I'm out on the town, I hang out with anyone I can and get to know them better. I learn their vehicle setups, operations, etc. This way, I have more things to talk about on the podium. SJ: Coming from a motorcycle background, do you have a slight bias towards the Pro Moto Unlimited guys than the four-wheel drivers? Dahlgren: I love the moto guys. In Baja, they kick ass -- seriously! They are also hilarious, fun, and tell great stories. They make my job easy when they are on the stage with me. SJ: As former Miss Monster Energy Supercross, and your experience in the motocross arena, you must have some riding experience. Do you ride? Dahlgren: Oh yes! I actually am too busy to own my own bike so I just borrow everyone else's. [She laughs] I grew up riding quads and driving our family off-road cars and sand cars. I started riding dirt bikes in my teens with my brothers, and friends. SJ: From your perspective, would you like to see more women getting involved in SCORE racing? What would you suggest to them? Dahlgren: Oh yes but I think they don't know where to start. I suggest they come down to the races and get in a chase truck to see what it's all about. Then decide if they want to do it! SJ: What's next for Dianna Dahlgren? Where do you hope to be in the next 10 years? Dahlgren: Oh gosh. I don't know. I just love day by day but work wise to just stay on top of my game. I just want to keep working for the next few years. Overall my goal is to simply be happy, do things I love, and to be madly in love with life, my love. At some point, I want to have some babies so I can raise them the same way I was raised! SJ WITH NEW OPPORTUNITIES OPENING UP FOR DAHLGREN IN THE NEAR FUTURE, SHE REMAINS ONE OF THE MANY FACES OF SCORE INTERNATIONAL THAT EXEMPLIFIES THE COMPANY'S YOUTH AND ENTHUSIASM TO PROMOTE THE SPORT OF DESERT RACING. 030 SCORE JOURNAL
