A. I would say my handheld moisture
meter. As superintendents we are very
hands on creatures as our job is touch
and feel. We walk on a green and can tell
many things by touch, how it feels under
our feet and visually looking at it, but to
be able to measure an exact number
and quantify our readings and moisture
levels allows us to do our job better
and more precise. It allows us to
communicate better with staff,
and teach and train individuals
using a quantitative scale.
