AUTO ART CONTEST WATERCRAFT VEHICLE For his own personal watercraft, the owner of Viking Innovations wanted a wrap that PL AC E WATERCRAFT VEHICLE Robb Keegan Chameleon Wraps and Graphics Houston refl ected his lifestyle, says Robb Keegan, owner of Chameleon Wraps and Graphics. Keegan's client, a former Marine, is involved in mixed martial arts fi ghting, which is incorporated into the design. The boat also includes a shark motif as requested by the client, and the Marines logo is placed under the canopy. "He wanted to take what was a very plain white and greenish-teal boat and turn it into what looked like a more modern boat," Keegan says. "There's a lot of mixed looks and themes." But the design doesn't stop on the outside of the boat as the graphics extend inside the boat to the cabin, Keegan says. Printed with a Mimaki JV33 onto 3M 180Cv3 vinyl and coated with 3M 8518 laminate, the wrap keeps a seamless look by matching the white graphics from the outside down to the fl ooring. "The fl ow was very natural," Keegan says. "They all blend very well. We continued the same theme, and everything from the outside continues into the inside, so the boat was aesthetically appealing inside and out." Once the wrap was fi nished, the client was so happy that he had it in the water within 48 hours, Keegan says. M SIGN & DIGITAL GRAPHICS
