AUTO ART CONTEST TRAILER AND BUS To promote Hunt Only's new online social network for the hunting industry, Greg PL AC E TRAILER AND BUS Shall, graphic artist at Wayne's Signs & Engraving, designed a bus wrap that is now used as a traveling billboard at industry conventions as well as local events. This wrap—which was printed using a Roland SJ-745EX onto Avery MPI 1005 Super Easy Apply RS vinyl and laminated with Avery DOL 1060 gloss overlaminate —features bright colors with a diverse amount of animal imagery. "We had to combine a lot of different animals to appeal to a lot of different Greg Shall Wayne's Signs & Engraving Inc. Mechanicsville, Md. hunters, whether they be upland game or from anywhere in the world," Shall says. "Because it's online, it can be anywhere, so we tried to use different animals for dif- ferent demographics." In addition to the body of the bus, the wrap also expands to the vehicle's motorized pop-out component, Shall says, making the graphics especially effective when parked at an event. Rather than having bare areas, the graphics continue for one seamless look. "The design was continuous all around," Shall says. "You didn't have big white gaps." Now that the wrap is complete, Hunt Only is so pleased with the outcome that the company continues to work with Wayne's Signs & Engraving for other projects, such as trade show displays and print ads, Shall says. What started as a bus wrap has turned into an opportunity for more business. Mid-J SIGN & DIGITAL GRAPHICS
