Ty Isaac readily admits the 2015 football season proved painful on a number of levels. He wanted to make a strong showing for a new coaching staff in spring ball. Instead, he got nicked up and missed valuable practice time, while others demonstrated durability. He envisioned becoming a big part of Michigan's rushing attack in a run-deter- mined Jim Harbaugh offense. Isaac even wowed the crowd inside The Big House Sept. 19, bursting away for a 76-yard touch- down run on his way to 115 rushing yards against UNLV. Here it is, assured a host of Michigan fans. Here's the former five-star prep we were waiting to see, ever since he transferred in from USC. From that moment on, they witnessed Isaac carry the football 10 more times over the final 10 games, covering an additional 39 yards. Following the shutout win over Northwestern Oct. 10, he didn't see the foot- ball again. Harbaugh's electrifying first year as Mich- igan's head coach involved an incongruous swirl of emotions for a highly talented ath- lete.
