General Session,
State of the Industry
The General Session brought everyone
together for the official welcome, including
introduction of a new event app and
announcements by Association president
Don Shapero of recent changes on the Board,
a new website, and other conference and
industry news. Next, Eric Sullivan, partner
at The Sports Facilities Advisory, delivered
the State of the Industry Report, including
information on trends in sports participation,
sports tourism, and financing.
Idea Incubator
and Executive Symposium
For the second year, the Idea Incubator was
the core learning track for existing operators.
Sessions covered data analytics, operational
contingencies, legal topics, product mix,
