World Youth Day holds a special place in the heart
of Denver Catholics. After all, it was World Youth
Day 1993, when Saint John Paul II visited Denver,
that our archdiocese was set ablaze with the Holy
Spirit and radically changed forever. This year,
World Youth Day is July 25-31 in Krakow, Poland,
and many pilgrims from Denver are on their way
to participate in this special part of the Church's
culture. Denver Catholic has all the latest informa-
